Household instability puts girls’ education at risk.
Every girl deserves the opportunity to complete her education and fulfil her potential. However, poverty continues to force many girls out of school.
Our experience through the Stay in School Programme has shown that when families struggle financially, girls are often the first to sacrifice their education. School attendance becomes inconsistent, learning is disrupted, and future opportunities are diminished.
Supporting girls therefore requires more than educational materials. It requires strengthening the economic capacity of their families.
Our solution
Mothers and daughters become partners in enterprise.
The Mom & Daughter Enterprise Hub is an intergenerational Family Enterprise Development Model that empowers mothers and daughters to become partners in enterprise.
Participants acquire practical vocational skills, entrepreneurship knowledge, financial literacy, and business management skills while receiving mentorship, enterprise development support, and access to seed capital where appropriate.
The programme enables families to establish sustainable enterprises that generate income, strengthen household resilience, and support girls to remain in school.
